Mr. Michael Triarico

Michael’s educational qualifications are in E-Commerce & Marketing, Economics, Public Policy, Town Planning and Certificate IV Training and Assessment (VET).

 

Has extensive teaching experience in the education sector in Australia and overseas. Currently, working as a Teacher-Transnational at Box Hill Institute (BHI), providing high quality and innovative teaching delivery to BHI Overseas Extended Campus students in China, at Zhejiang Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. (ZIME) and Guangdong Food and Drug Vocational College (GFDVC), in China.

 

Michael has also recently worked in Singapore for many years as a Senior Lecturer at the School of Business Management (SBM), Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) delivering subject curriculum in the area of Business Management, Marketing and co-ordinating Leadership Seminar workshops. In addition, he was a member of the Centre for Business Innovation (CBI) at SBM, in which he played an active role as a student developer and project supervisor. He was also involved in the Teaching Enterprise Project (TEP) at SBM. He successfully worked at various TEP centres such as the Business Research Centre Services (BRCS), CareerLink (CL), and the Productivity Centre (PTC). TEP is a unique and innovative concept of training, where students undergo practice-based learning through attachments with real business centres within campus. It is work on industry commissioned projects and provides a platform for actual hands-on training for the students. This platform also provided responsibility for liaising with students, internal departmental employees and relevant industry groups.

 

In Australia, he has also worked for various educational institutions such as the University of Melbourne and Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (RMIT) in the delivery and co-ordinating of subject curriculum for the Departments of Management, Faculty of Economics and Commerce, and for the Department of Political Science, The University of Melbourne. The Department of Social Science and Planning, and The School of Global, Urban and Social Studies (GUSS), RMIT University.

 

In addition, he has industry experience in the areas of Marketing, Economics and Planning sectors. In these sectors he has worked as a Market Researcher Consultant, a Sales and Marketing Consultant Manager, a Research Assistant and a Senior Statutory & Strategic Town Planner.
